Our Vision

As we look to the future, we see a few focal points where we can make a difference in the NFT space, and maintain a high decentralized standard. For us, decentralization isn't about buzz. It's about creating platforms that will stand the test of time, and protecting freedom of ownership far into the future. There are Five Key Areas where we are looking to make a difference:

1) NFT token creation

2) NFT technology creation

3) Collaboration between creators

4) Real-world expansion

5) Society Contribution

We see an immediate need for improvement in NFT token creation. Lower gas fees and decentralized metadata are two key areas we are looking to explore. Concerning gas fees, we are looking into BSC use cases. As for decentralized metadata, this is something we are especially passionate about. We believe that there can't be a properly aligned and functioning NFT ecosystem without decentralized metadata. The centralization of metadata makes secure ownership, censorship resistance, and free exchange impossible.

NFT technology creation is another domain where we see immediate opportunities. One of our primary goals is to build out technical infrastructure for other protocols to build upon, making technical collaboration simple, and giving future protocols an easier place to start. This thesis is already a part of Project Panda.

Global BEP-20 compatibility and customizable contracts are paving the way for easy integration with websites and other marketplaces. In the near future, we are pushing to enable creators to host their own marketplaces on their websites. This would allow creators to sell their NFTs in return for social tokens, creating a virtuous cycle within their communities and boosting their social token's use case.

The next key piece of our vision is a focus on collaboration between creators. Currently, it is very difficult, if not impossible, for collaborators to have equal input on the blockchain. Of course, collaborators could communicate outside of the blockchain and coordinate decisions, but an important part of decentralization is creating a trustless environment, and maximizing the rule of code. We will be looking towards opportunities like these to find ways for creators to more effectively collaborate.

Real world expansion is the largest and debatably the most exciting direction for NFTs. Most would agree that for NFTs to reach their full potential, they need to become ingrained in our daily lives, similarly to how DeFi enthusiasts hope their ecosystem becomes the bedrock of finance. In this light, there are clear ways in which NFTs could take the place of ownership rights in the real world. One is real estate, where there is already work being done to tokenize property.

However, the benefits of using NFTs for real world ownership will never outweigh the challenges until either governments recognize smart contracts and NFT ownership as legally binding, or the actual mechanisms of ownership are bulletproof. We are excited to see how ideas in this domain evolve, and we will be looking to improve upon these challenges ourselves.

These key domains within the NFT space outline the future we push towards. One where collaboration and the creation of custom NFTs is seamless. One where open access to NFT development infrastructure is a given. One where ownership isn't just promised, but guaranteed.
